Their bail application was expected to be heard at the Johannesburg Magistrates Court yesterday, but their defence team has argued that they shouldn’t be appearing before the court in the first place.
In their affidavit, the brothers say police have refused to supply them with details related to the charges they face.
These include the exact dates of the alleged conspiracy and attempts of when and how the alleged bombings were to happen.
The 23-year-old twins also say they haven’t been given access to the police docket or details of the evidence, saying this has affected their ability to prepare for bail applications.
Their legal team has argued that they were unlawfully arrested, as a warrant was not presented and the court needs to deal with this issue before considering the bail application.
The case will be back in court tomorrow.
