A man needs money, before he can be called “RICH”. The Bible says,” It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to make heaven”. Actually, this doesn’t mean being poor automatically makes you a candidate for Heaven. The society today thrives on the general opinion that money is evil, hence the saying,” money (or the love of it, whichever) is the root of all evil”! This is basically a lie. A poor man could just be as evil as a rich man, all that matters is the individual state of mind.
For example, a poor man wakes up, picks up a gun and starts robbing the rich. This doesn’t make him Robin Hood, it means he is thief! A poor man picks up a gun and starts robbing other poor people in order to become rich, he is absolutely evil as well, no question. This also applies to the rich guys who steal from the poor, stealing in whatever form is evil.

The curse of a man, when he was driven from the Garden of Eden, was that he would till the earth before he “eats”. In today’s society, a man can’t really “eat”, if he has no money. So we can put money out there with the 3 basic necessities, Food, Clothing and shelter because money can provide these other things in today’s society.
The question really is, “How much money does a man really need?”, a Million? a Billion? a Trillion? The fact is that the average man would not be comfortable with a number. Trust me, no one would be able to give an exact figure. Give a man a Million, and he would want a Billion. Give him a Billion, then he would request for a Trillion and so on.
In my opinion, as long as you have enough money to provide your feeding, clothing and shelter needs, you are rich enough. The rest is just for Financial Social Security and Luxury. When I mean, “Financial Social Security”, have a look at these 2 comments below, circled in red, you should get the message.
Just in case you aren’t still clear, every man is born with a certain amount of pride. And in order to maintain that, pride, you need to ensure that you always have some amount of Financial Social Security that would prevent you from ending up in the wrong side of such remarks made by women.
“Sphe”, might pretty much drive her husband to steal one day, and “Battosai” knows that! Hence the extra 100 bucks offering, good thinking!
Make no mistake, no reasonable woman would like to be “Bought” as a “wife” and no man worth his salt, wishes to be “Bought” as a “husband” either! From the comment made by Linda Ikeji (in as much as she is well enlightened enough to know already, she can’t buy love), she could buy herself “a husband” but in my opinion, he won’t be “worth his salt”. With all her cash, she certainly can’t buy a real man!

In as much as Heavens forbid the day a man gets bought as a husband, a man needs a lot of money to avoid intimidation. In doing so, you need a little bit of “Luxury”, to let the outside world know, that you are “financially secure”. Although, not like the way Mike Tyson and MC Hammer did it. Its only wise that it is done with moderation, not the E Money way either (pictured below).
In contrast to the 3 guys here who just closed a $26bn deal (they just sold Linkedin to Microsoft) …How much is the richest man in Africa really worth. The point is, it doesn’t matter how much you have made, there is always someone who has more, and human nature pushes us to always want more.
However, when you think of it, you don’t really need too much money. Enough money to keep yourself and your kin above debt, and to tackle any incidences like ill-health, is all you really need.
